    Traditional FSC Week 49

Ellis is out hunting today, so he asked me to make this call for him,
    and requested this target.

Print this to scale 8.5 X 11 inch, or draw it as close as you can.

Each card represents all four cards of it's size in the deck.

You can shoot multiples of the same card, but each suit will only be counted once. If however you shoot the same card, and get all 4 suits, then you've got a darn good hand in play.

You "cannot" shoot through a card, and score the card beneath it.

Here's how to score the lines if you hit them:

    1. Royal flush
    A, K, Q, J, 10, all the same suit.

    2. Straight flush
Five cards in a sequence, all in the same suit.

    3. Four of a kind
    Four of the same card

    4. Full house
Three of a kind with a pair.

    5. Flush
Any five cards of the same suit, but not in a sequence.

    6. Straight
Five cards in a sequence, but not of the same suit.

    7. Three of a kind
Three cards of the same rank.

    8. Two pair
    Two different pairs.

    9. Pair
Two cards of the same rank.

    10. High Card
When you haven't made any of the hands above.

From 12 yards (6 for the kiddos).
One shot a day for 7 days.

Best 5 card hand wins the call for next week.

Great start, Rick, and thanks for getting this posted!

Here's my first shot of day (no hunting luck): Ace of hearts (was trying for club, but happy to hit AN ace).

*Tip: pizza box top makes a nice backing for multi-day targets.

Nice shots gentlemen! Heading to the lease Tuesday, so no FSC for me this week.

Forces me to call Day 1 a spade.

                Good shooting y'all!

Now I've got 2 aces (hearts, spades). Happy to hit the one I was going for today -- even though it's a line-splitter.

Went for the Ace again, and got a pending choice on the 9 & King.
Have to see what other shots are before I decide how to use it.

After-work shot in fading light works again for third ace (diamonds). Feeling pretty lucky, and liking the quiet releases and second anchor reference (thumb knuckle against jaw).

Thanks Rick. I didn't mention it here, but gave credit on your Traditional Archery Friends site to info in your recent videos about releases and anchor references, which I've been trying to use and stay solid at release.
