We’re 4 games into the youngest first tball team and he’s hooked. Says he’s going to pitch when he’s old enough. Being a lefty, I hope he sticks with it.

Got a good bow sit in Thursday with another limit of doves Friday. 5 dove hunts and 5 limits is my best year for doves.

Little man drew a permit for spike/doe at Mason Mountain. This will be his first time to chase whitetail and he’s pretty fired up.
We head down on Friday.

He’s been putting in the work as well.







I think I might be more excited than he is if that’s even possible!

The local game farm 1/2 mile from our rental house in Bozeman. There were 300-400 elk on the side of the hill as I ate breakfast. They just know there’s no hunting on that and adjacent ranches. I’ve inquired.

Attempts to call them to our 20 acres have proven fruitless to date- but fun never the less.

Hunting elk snd deer on BLM land in the Ruby Valley. Our house under construction is under the arrow. I keep pinching myself to make sure I’m not dreaming.

I’m putting in a hunting room with bunk beds for friends who want to hunt Montana. Maybe a September Bownanza- north?

Bill, I hate that we did not get to hook up when I was up there in September. Between fishing and visiting with my wife's brother who came from California, I just didn't have the time.
