Nice Gettysburg photos Russ. I've been watching some documentaries on the Civil War, the death and destruction is unimagineable. A July battle, and it is said the residents were still putting peppermint oil under their noses that winter to mask the smell of death.
Count your blessings, hug the ones you love, and go out and make it a great day.

This is a poem my son wrote and read to his 2nd grade class after he shot his 1st buck back in November. They let him out of 2nd grade so I guess it’s ok to post now.
Those are bullets at the top, and note his rifle resting on the feeder.[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
I nearly passed out laughing, my bride cringed a little bit..
His teacher must have been a pretty good sport![emoji15][emoji16]

He writes better poetry then me!
So my nephew had his first solo run at a summer series last night. He’s come a long way with his paint Rudy, and is getting better at making the pony do what he wants him too do.
He’s giving a thumbs up to the announcer after she announced his time and told him good job [emoji16][emoji23]
Also ran into Hoop and got a Hooper hug so all in all a pretty nice evening!!!

Happy Father's Day gang!!
Been meaning to post this up...my son called about 6 weeks ago telling me he wanted to wet a line as he was headed home from TCU completing his Jr year. Well that made my heart swell as Kenny never was into the outdoors like I was as a kid.
Took off Monday the 13th off last month & just had an outstanding day on the water...watching him catch his first large redfish back to back to back was hilarious.
Blessings for all the Dad's today!!
