Monday is flag day. Here is a little info on that: Flag Day, also called National Flag Day, in the United States, a day honouring the national flag, observed on June 14. The holiday commemorates the date in 1777 when the United States approved the design for its first national flag. The 1777 flag is the one that has thirteen stars in a circular pattern.
This week’s challenge is to take an 8.5x11 sheet of paper and design a mock flag with a square in the top left hand corner of about 5x5 inches. Shots will be fired from 13 yards because of the original 13 colonies that declared their independence from Great Britain. First two shots of the day are to be fired at the box. Each hit is worth 1 point. Two shots a day for five days makes for a total of 10 points maximum. A tie will be settled by the arrows that hit outside the square but still on paper. So if you miss, miss low/right. If we need another tie breaker, it’d be first to post.
