What is right!?? Asking for a friend

I build mine out of chicken wire and use hardware cloth for the funnels
Make sure the floor bottom(wire) is not exposed, I move it back and forth until the wire floor is submerged in the dirt
Put small amounts of brush on top and around the trap
Set about a foot off their trail that they use to go to the feeder
I sprinkle corn all the way into the funnels, hopefully you get the “call” bird in the trap

Chicken Chit and chicken salad, the difference between the taste of a trapped quail and one smoked with a shotgun! Fill out the log and refrain from showing your thoughts on the internet??? thats how it has always worked in Mex ??

Have never "trapped" any but have heard that old box springs with all the cloth burned off and loaded with corn slows em down an awful lot. Heard from a friend, nothing myself or any of my sporting associates have ever been a part of.
