Be safe with the 30 bags and make sure to put it behind the back wheels.

you'll be skeerd when a d*** deer jumps out in front of you at 80 mph and your steering is crud because of all the weight over the rear axle.
I see people all the time in the hills on I-10 that look like a boat pulling a tube.

get a trailer. your truck is better at pulling the load than carrying it

I put 40 in a Tahoe once but it wasn't my Tahoe. It can be done but I wouldn't advise anyone to do it.

I'll haul a full 275 gallon tote (2,290lbs) in a 1/2 ton chevy on the dirt county road for a couple miles so I know that the truck can do it but not safely at hwy speed

I’ve hauled a pallet before in my tundra no problem.

max payload, which includes passengers and gear, you will be hauling much less.

Airbags on a half ton are amazing.

10 for me, but that's the limit I can pickup and put in without help!

60 bags protein/corn is the most I haul and I don’t go but about 20 miles (from town to the lease). If I’m driving from home to the lease (3 hours) I only load about 30 max.
