What would eat a skunk?

Shot a coyote last month that smelt like one either sprayed or ate it.

Hogs would for sure. They can’t dig it up though.

Coyote is my guess. "Skunk in a hole" is a trapping set for coyotes.

I ate some stuff one night that was probably right up there with skunk smell. I had to much invested to just walk away. If I was a dog that dug two foot to get it, I’d probably eat it to.

I’ve eaten worse but that was in Pattaya, Thailand after a whole lotta booze at Sugar Baby Agogo...at least that is what my buddy told me.

Had a coyote a couple of years ago following a trail that a skunk came up and where the skunk walked he was trailing. Trail ended pretty quick after that.

Any Lab would dig it up, just to roll in it and come home!

Check recipes forum and look for those eating javelina..... probably just trying to get the taste out of their mouth

Skunks are favorite food of many animals. I would guess it was a coyote or a dog. I would never had dug a hole to burry a skunk. I just toss them out away from the house, the buzzards are usually on them in a few hours, within a few hours after they find it, it will be completely gone.
