The good point is he didn't win, there will be a run off.
The other better point, if the others that didn't vote for Turner will vote for Busby in the run off Houston will have a new mayor!

Houston proper is a crap hole and I’m glad I don’t live in the city limits.
Buzbee has a legit shot in the run off IMO.

Although I still think it's a long shot; going into this, I thought King should have dropped out. The issue is both Buzzbee and King essentially pull a lot of votes out of the same demographic. We live in what is considered one of the more conservative areas in Houston (yes, there are a few, but not many!) and this most definitely was the case.
Turner gets a lot of votes off skin color, but it sure doesn't help that a lot of the CA transplants and other yanks come here and bring their politics with them.Comment
