    We've killed a 190 that wasn't That big at 4/5. Guessing on Deer With No History is Very Dangerous. Big Deer are few and Far Between. Shooting him on a Down Yr could Cost you a Deer of a Life time. Once you Get a Deer to that Age Why Take Him out as a Management Deer when He Could still have a Chance to Pop. We See Deer Go up and Down Every Year. I have a 170 from last yr that scores in the 140s this yr. I See regardless of the Rain, Drought, or if he's a Protein hog. You Could Be Right Or Wrong. The Problem is once you Kill Him you'll never Know.

        For what it’s worth, I showed the pix to a deer breeder friend of mine. He has years experience aging whitetail deer.

        He said 7 1/2....
