We borrowed a 1960 version in 30-06 for our trip to Powderhorn in November

I've got a Model 70 FWT in .257 Roberts. I've killed a lot of stuff with it. The 90 gr. Barnes X bullet handloads are awesome.

Swapped trigger springs in both my '65 and '67 couple weeksago. '67 now has a 1.2 lb trigger pull. '65 has a 2.7. Two different spring weights too.

The fish are biting and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

Here’s a picture of my favorite one in my collection. Model 70 stainless classic 270 from 1995 I also purchased one from 1994 from a member here but I’ve not found a scope for it yet.

I guess I'm just drawn to model 70s, all my favorite rifles have been them.

I have the Pre-‘64 m70 30-06 in the Featherweight also. That sucker kicks worse than anything I’ve shot before. I shot my Cape buffalo with a 500N and it was nothing close to that or the 375 H&H, I love that gun though. I’ve carried it on several hunts to MT, great mountain gun.

I'm currently in the process of building a 30/06 on a donor action from 1954. I'll get my action and barrel back from my gunsmith at DSC. Then it'll be time to start whittling wood.

                            I have the same but it’s a 300wm featherweight.
The wood on mine does not look that detailed though. That one’s a beauty.
