I second in asking the Doctors who actually worked with both of them. Despite having well informed people on this site none of them have first hand knowledge of what exactly happened. Go ask the people who specialize in this and actually worked with the baby.

They have doctors already, I don't need to get involved. What is done, is done and can't be undone. I was just asking for opinions. Thank you.

I hope and pray it is not permanent or long lasting. Brains are amazing and can heal and essentially rewire around bad spots. It takes time so be patient.
