    I've got the hookup with an outfitter in SE Kansas if that's something you'd consider? (he has really good deer)

      They seem to kill good bucks quite regular. I have considered booking with them.

        I hunted Pike County , Illinois 5 years on private property. Rut peaks 2nd-3rd week of November based on my experience. We had some good archery hunts with the bucks chasing does heavy.

              Always thought it was weird that states so far east are considered "Midwest".
              Especially east of the Mississippi LOL
