Please don’t drink and drive!

Drunk driver smashed in my fence last night around 1130pm. Truck took out a 4’ gate, 9 4x4 posts, and about 75’ of fence.

No drivers license, no insurance. Truck impounded, but that doesn’t help me any.

Please if you drink don’t drive. Missed hitting my house by about 4’, and thankfully missed the dog pen too.

Kiddo slept though the whole ordeal, and wife and I are ok.

I thankful for a lot of things this morning!

Yes sorry I posted in the classified. Didn’t get much sleep after being woken up. Not an illegal. Just a guy with mental health issues according to pd. Wife and family are frequent flyers with ccpd.

I assumed he was drunk from the beginning but pd assured it was a mental health issue. His contractor “buddy” came over this am and confirmed my suspicion that they were drinking earlier and was hoping he’d go to jail for a wake up call.

He was very apologetic and kept saying that he was a veteran and had fallen on hard times. With the mental health issue I quickly calmed down, and started assessing the damage, and just made sure everyone was safe.

The fence can be replaced and the contractor buddy said they would take care of the issue but we have an emergency fund for emergencies and I’ll get the work done either way.

Pleas don’t drink and drive.
