I've leased from him before. Was able to lease 350 acres for myself just out of Hebbronville. It was a decent place near a big neighbor. But I think I just got lucky cause the land owner was looking for a small single family to lease to.

Land owner was great. My son shot a 150 off the place the first year with a few more deer in the upper 130s shot the next few years. But the only dealing I had with him was the first year. I have heard night mare story's about the guy though.

The lease I'm on now has a guy on it that had a group lease from him one year. He never took the lease off the market. So they were basically on one year and got out bid the next year by another group. This is why you see the same leases offered by him year after year.

Hunted a 600 acre pasture he had in Webb county. If that’s the place I’d stay far away from it.
