I hope the country is not as polarized as some people on TBH make it sound. Really, the Democrats are going to emp the United States?

George Bush is a democrat hack? 4 star generals that have fought for this country are all of a sudden liberals?

No matter what happens I pray that that this country finds a way to heal. I am a grown man and very capable of taking care of myself. My children have done everything that could be expected of them. A Dr., a rancher getting HER post graduate degree, and a young man on the Deans list at TCU headed to medical school. They deserve better then to inherit a country that has lost its faith and it’s forgiveness. We call eachother names when we disagree, but we are too entitled to cover our face for other people. We should have been back to work 6 weeks ago, but we are to entitled to wear a little mask on our face and this “made up” virus continues to harm people and prevent our economic engine from starting.
Poverty will kill more people then Covid 19, but our selfish attitude will be the reason it happens.
People are more important than policy. I don’t like either of our choices, but I love this country and I choose to be a part of the solution. Maybe if we quit listening to the news corporations that make more money creating division then they do reporting facts we would all be better off.

Now that's a load of hog wash. So you think if we all wore masks this virus would what? Just go away? It would still be here only flatten the curve even longer and make us all suffer even longer.

What am I missing?

How about if everyone ignored the media and let it spread to begin with we would have immunity and be done with it already. And no, the hospitals would not have been over run and we would not have all died.

How are entitlement and a mask in any way related? Please explain what I’m entitled to if I don’t wear a mask. So a mask is the high wire that our economy is teetering on? Do you honestly believe that?
Before the lock down we were told a mask wouldn’t make a difference but now the mask is the golden bullet.
You can’t stop a pandemic, we have to deal with it which means it has to run its course just like every other pandemic we have dealt with. All you are doing is kicking the can down the road and that doesn’t even make sense Because the mortality rate doesn’t warrant it.
