Help me pick a 22 mag

I have had both of those and to be honest the CZ magazine sticks out of the stock and I hated it. I also did not care for the drop comb stock. I sold it and bought a Ruger American Rimfire in 22WMR. The Ruger uses a rotary style magazine like a 10/22 and is a good hunting gun, I keep mine in my Mule all the time. As for looks the CZ is a beautiful gun.

The Henry I have is the blued version of what you posted and it is not nearly as accurate as the CZ or Ruger.

Funny, before I even opened this thread both of those rifles were options in my head.
Henry seems like fun, but I’d probably get the CZ.

I vote for the CZ but I'm partial to em.

That stock is specifically designed for open sights. If you can one for it, try a ghost ring or rear peep sight.

I didn't like the golden boy, was hard for me to use it's iron sights, had to lift head up off stock so went with blued and scoped henry

The dropped "European" type stock on the CZ is great for iron sights. Cz can have a better trigger. CZ is potentially more accurate, although with iron sights you probably won't tell much difference. For a faster handling gun with faster followups, if necessary, the lever gun is hard to beat. I'd have to opt for the CZ, though.

I have a Henry, and it's very accurate with the Armscor ammo I use. I've killed snakes in my pond at 50+ yards, several in fact.
