It will but not very effectively. I shot this deer at 90 yards with a 30-30 and he ran about 20 yards doing the wobble leg dance.

Had I shot him with my 65 creed would have been gutted and loaded in the truck at the squuze of the trigger.

Nah, the bullets just bounce off. Anybody that says they kill with a 30-30 lies.

I love my original marlin 30/30. Was a Christmas gift when I was 12. My son killed his first deer ever with it open sights and all

30-30, just whisper that in the deep woods and the deer will fall over.

                  It's neat just saying 30-30.

But you used to say 35 Remington.

Or maybe you spoke both calibers.

No, A round nose cup and core bullet will no longer kill any animal. If the BC of your bullet is not the highest available, bonded with a pretty little plastic tip traveling at 3,000 PFS you might as well not shoot at anything including squirrel and ground hogs.

30-30 is a weak sister, what you need is the big power of a 300BO

Doesn't Hornady make one of those for the 30-30 called a LeveRevolution?

No, its rubber and the BC is way to low to shoot anything over 20 feet away.
