Sold my Sigma 50-500 to add the following.

Added the Cokin Z filter system with 3 ND grad filters 1-3 stops. Need to get a solid gray now.

Also some off camera lighting to play with that I'll discuss later in another thread.

                            Nikon software...

I have been reading some of the post and noticed no one is using Nikon Capture. I may have missed one... I shoot NEF + jpeg, if I don't open my NEF file with capture then I've lost a lot of image due to the horizontal compression with nikon. The size difference of the final image is very appealing to photo editors.

                                Brand: Nikon (the good stuff)

                                Lenses: Standard Nikkor fare

Other equipment: Nikon SD200 Flash, Cheap tripod, Pelican case, 2 kayaks, a little bit of vision, and one big imagination.

Editing software: Honestly, not really anything. I need some good software. One of these days...

Experience: I've been into graphic arts and design fora very, very long time. I developed an interest in photography in my very late teens and used a very finicky Canon EOS for a while before giving it up for a long time. I got into digital photography with a Sony Mavica in 1999 and kept upgrading until I finally got back to a DSLR with my D80 kit purchased in 2006. It's been a great ride ever since!

Favorite shots: I love shooting on the water, from my kayak. That is by far my favorite, and I especially like flora photography and catching the amazing waterfowl & other creatures of my waterways. I also really enjoy working with models when I can, but I find that it is very difficult to get the model you want who will carry the attitude you need, so I tend to prefer landscapes; they don't talk back.
