Pulling 12 hour nights at work has not left me with much boat building time. This morning I mocked up a spray rail/gunnel idea I had and that was it.

Made a little progress today. I cut the bow deck out and it is fitted nicely with just a little Carolina flare. Tomorrow I plan to fabricate the hatch and will begin installing deck bracing.

I started on the hatch today and epoxied some braces in. If all goes well, I get to break out the router tomorrow.

                        It looks good!

The funny part about building a wood boat is all the clamps probably cost more than the wood.

Working on the hatch and deck today. I predrilled the cedar to prevent gouging the deck. Tomorrow I will route it out after the epoxy cures and screws are removed.

This afternoon I prepared the hatch/deck area with lots of support bracing so tomorrow the deck can go on and I can get back going on the hatch! Oh, I did install a couple tubes for horizontal rod storage. It will be tight but I can get one rod on each side.
