2004, my first trip to Kansas. Rolled into Stafford about 3pm on a Monday. Met up with my outfitter and he drove me out to the farm I was going to hunt for the next week. While we were looking at the property from the road, he asked me what I was looking for. I said a 10 point or better. He just laughed and said, “You haven’t seen some of our 8’s!!”
And he was right!!! The last buck I killed was a big ole 8.
That is a heck of a deer. Congrats on a brute. Lots of bone there.
But kinda sucks if that was on the first day!!!
