Well said! I don't wish harm nor death on anyone. With family members that have died horribly from cancer I don't play like that. In addition, my dad is 87 which is older than she is.

Roberts did it from his office chair. That is another one of Bush's ****ups.

8d never wish death on anyone....so I hope she retires.
That said I'd have a good stiff drink if the Clintons plane plowes into a mountain side.
AS for RBG... I hope she lives to be 110 in retirement

That she is. Broke three ribs and was back to work in a month. For an 85 year old woman, I'd say she's pretty stout.

Interestingly, those three broke ribs were the reason her cancer was found (tests during hospital visit).

Weird to hear this called an accomplishment.
I don't care who the prez is, not like they did anything except nominate someone from their party. Has a president ever shocked the country in this process? Im not poking, asking a serious question.

If it can keep our country on the right track by upholding the constitution, then I would consider it an accomplishment. A very important one at that.

Maybe accomplishment is not the right language. But, a president can nominate anyone they want and if they respect the country and the constitution that made it what it is they nominate someone who they think will interpret the constitution.
There is no chance a Democrat president is going to nominate someone like this. Several Republican presidents have been fooled.

The credit technically should go to Mitch McConnell for blocking Garlands nomination for a year (which was quite a gamble, if Trump had lost, Hillary probably would've nominated someone much more liberal than Garland, who was relatively centrist), and for getting Trump's nominees through relatively quickly. Also if you look at Trump's list of people he's nominated for judges, I'd wager he outsourced the work to the Federalist Society.

RBG looks bad. You have to know when to say when. She is way past that point. I wish her a happy retirement. Spend your days with family and let the job go!
