Very slow at our place too. I did see some bucks still chasing and two were fighting. Looks like we are going to have to wait till mid December when things pick up a little. At least that’s the way things are in the 20 years I have been hunting there.

Bil shot a 9pt chasing a doe Saturday
Next day I saw another big buck chasing does across the pasture
Very weird year, I’ve never seen bucks chasing this late at our place
Normally the bucks have grouped back up by now.
I’m getting live pics of bucks bird dogging does at the feeders last few days.

Last year at this time I shot a 6 point and he came in grunting and following does. And year before that I shot another buck after he ran a small buck off that was chasing does and I think that one was after Christmas. The buck to doe ratio is way off for this to be happening. They need to extend doe days after thanksgiving by another week. Or let us take a does with archery equipment during rifle season.Originally posted by OldRiverRat View PostComment
