Barndominium Build - Deep East Texas

Not much to post here lately. We got the granite for the kitchen and bathroom picked out today. The tile guy started on the shower and we ordered all of our appliances as well the 3/4 plywood that’s going around the inside walls of the shop.

Trackhoe and Dozer are supposed to arrive tomorrow to start moving dirt.

We are hoping to finish soon. Guessing around 4 weeks left!

Pond is put on hold due to all the rain. We will need a couple days of sun to dry it up. It’s a red clay mud pit right now

Looks awesome! I am behind you on build myself and will need to start a thread soon at some point! Currently working on second bid and we have locked down on plans, met with electric company and picked out stone thus far. Hopefully will break ground in August/September.

Good luck. Take lots of pictures of the build as it progresses. You will enjoy them later.

Very nice. I have done a couple concrete floors also and really like the look, when its laid down well.

Especially in the summer time. I think it helps with cooling the house.
