I tried Brussels sprouts last year. I planted in early February. That’s too late. I planted October 1st this time. Much better success.
I put my broccoli, garlic and onions in then as well.

I’d like to participate, this is just my second attempt at a garden. Very basic compared to you guys. Just potted plants and such

                Y’all ever tried tower gardens??

Our indoor one with the lights is so awesome and worth it

We eat salad everyday and still can’t keep up with the growth

We also have the outdoor model with no lights

I just researched various tower gardens a little. Too pricy for me. Great idea.

Pulled dirt to my potatoes and got the purple hull peas planted.

So the purple hulls will do fine without a trellis of any sort? I am new to the beans/peas but want to get into it bigly.

For the guys that grow potatoes. When you start covering them up as they grow how much of the plant do leave uncovered.

This and also what can I put on them to keep whatever is eating my potato leaves? These are in raised beds that we started this year.

Yeah they will just cover the ground , just wade through them and pick peas.
At least that's how I do it.
