The government shut down for seventeen days in 2013 right before the Seg A Deer Hunt. I remember because I was in Seg A that year. It didn't affect anything other than the refuge being shut down for scouting, which was a bummer. I think if there is any way to have the hog hunt, they will.

I hope so, but guessing it depends on how long shutdown drags on and if there is sufficient time between re-opening and the hunt dates to get apps & permits organized & processed ( on top of whatever else is piling up for them)

pretty sure apps/drawing/permits were all done well ahead of that shutdown, so it wouldn't have effected any of the logistical prep

That should be segment K for kids, And segment HHH for Hagerman hog hunt.
