If we created jobs rebuilding bridges, roads, ports, refineries and other infrastructures instead of bombs we would be better of in this country. Probably the world as well.

But it is our right to protect our sovereign nation, I mean that is the Governments only job. The fact is the military did not receive a 700 billion budget increase they got a 2% increase that brought their total budget to 700 billion. The onlt thing this lady was right about was saying we didn't ask for new F-35s or nuke, we asked for more navy ships. The reason we asked for more ships is because our largest fleet (the 7th fleet) is expected to last 24 hours if we ever go to war with China (only china and no other country). The amount of Subs china has equals the total amount of US Navy vessels. And on a daily basis we don't know were 10 plus of these subs are. Don't get me wrong, there are somethings I don't agree with spending money on, for example, the F35 is to expensive, we should stick with the Super Hornet. Another example of wasteful spending is the department of education, we spend more per capita on a student than any other nation, yet we are not even top 10. The only answer there is to throw more money at it...

China is the least of our worries. They own the greatest part of our national debt. They own us.

You're off by a factor of 10. China has about 60 subs, we have about 70. Not only is our navy larger, but it's not using outdated russian equipment and ships. We'd stomp a mud-hole in china in any pacific confrontation. Now a fight in the south china sea would be a lot harder since they have heavily invested in shore based long range anti-ship missiles.

The good thing about the chinese military is they have no patriotism
. The only thing those youngsters want to to is get back home and get to the mall to buy an Adidas shirt and some Guess Jean's and play on their Huawei phones.

Why does she keep getting everyone's attention? IF elected (likely) she will represent a small district of the Bronx and Queens. Why does everyone give her 2 minutes of any day? Even the dems are stupid for doing that.

She is the test chum for their much larger scale plan. They have dozens like her, ex Bernie/Occupy (and worse) prior staffers, who have been being groomed and force fed the usual lib-commie free stuff platform... they intend to bring a wave of these idiots to Congress.

Ignore this one at your own peril.

That is what I believe it started out as, but I think the party will start distancing from her now that she has made a fool of herself. Bernie (as nutty as he is) can actually articulate his points and debate. He very likely would have beat Hillary if it wasn't for the DNC and Hillary Camp colluding against him. Someone like her will shed a negative light on someone like Bernie. There is a reason Joe Crowley is remaining on the ballot.

The fact THEY knew they had to get him and his "democratic-socialist" platform out the way, is a bit of relief though. Even dims knew then as well as now, that there is no democrat-SOCIALIST that is going to win an election for POTUS... at least not until they've finished importing half the 3rd world (new voters).

I think what they did had more to do with Hillary than it did Bernie's platform. The socialist movement is very popular with the base, plus, Bernie isn't as "extreme" as even he thinks. He is actually not far off from the line with a lot of the mainstream Democrats. Remember the Debates with him and Hillary? They weren't debates, just big "I agree" fests.
