I agree, but I think it says a lot that we have still been winning with the current lineup. Once we get Springer, Correa, and Altuve back (and they play like they normally do) we've got a real chance. Also Verlander has been DOMINANT but he has been bugged lately with giving up the long ball.

2 of those home runs he gave up were really cheap shots....BUT he shouldnt have thrown the fastball there, the guy just stuck the bat out and blooped into the boxes.....they couldnt get within a foot of his breaking ball, and he should have thrown 10 of them until he got him out......

and he knew it about 1 sec after the ball made contact

Home runs is what the league is about now. The hitters are going up there with an all or nothing approach. Strikeouts aren’t a big deal as long as you hit a fair amount over the fence. Tough for any pitcher to get through that type of approach unscathed. JV’s state line is a perfect representation of what the league has become. 15Ks and 3 dingers.

Rogelio Armentos has been called up. Solid arm! Fisher optioned with all the surplus innings on the bullpen they are keeping up the extra arm. As well Josh James experienced some lat tightness last night after pitching.
