Made it to Redding and was able to secure some basic provisions. Have coffee for the morning, whiskey for the night and beer for the boat!

Fishing the lower Sacramento tomorrow. Will leave Tuesday for whatever is fishing best around here. Gotta go find some dinner and sunscreen.

I sent Cary(outfitter) a text and the hunter did kill a cow elk after I left. I hope when I am retired and in my 70’s I am still killing stuff!!!!! Wish I could have seen the cow go down.

Putting in on the Sacramento. Nothing like launching a boat in a park with homeless folks. Have to run your own shuttles due to virus. Guide had all his stuff stolen a couple weeks ago. Interesting times!
