From about 9 am to 3 pm

Just wanted to say thank you for all the posts. Really enjoying getting into this. The guys at the brew and grow shop were a hoot - “Man, you don’t have to say you’re growing cucumbers here man, it’s okay to talk about growing cannabis.”
Then, he only rang up half the cups and fertilizers...

Well, how's everbody else's cukes doing?

Gone! As is most of the garden. Couldn't water enough during the dry spell. But still have some peppers, Okra, eggplants and Mrs. Lobos oriental stuff. And the long beans are showing new life after the past weeks rains. Still have a Roma tomato in a pot @ the house.

I walked out several weeks ago and my beautiful barrel of cucumbers was brown and dead almost over night. Come to find out the barrel was out of water! I tried to put more into it but it didnt help. I think I had to many growing in one barrel. Next time I wont put so many plants in one barrel.

I've refilled this 4 times now,(right at 45 gals) the first time I drowned one of the plants but the others survived and has given us lots of cucumbers. The subsequent refills I didn't fill it completely up. On the next go around I will be using a large barrel and plenty more growth area
