I still have a P38 my dad had in 1950 when he was in the Army. I have several church keys from that era as well, my dad opened many Busch-Bavarians with them!

I know what a church key is. Have Dad's from his tackle box. It's been in mine since he passed about 16yrs ago. Yes I carry a p38 on my key chain. Same one I carried in Nam.

I carry mine as a reminder not to gripe about decent food after eating C rations in the field

Even chit on the shingle started to taste ok.

I know. I’ve used them many, many times. In fact, I’ve probably got one laying around in a drawer somewhere.

They come in handy for opening up lids on spit cans, cans that don’t have easy opening lids and easy opening lids when they fail to open easy.
