I’d like to congratulate my son in law Ian who ran the Boston Marathon in 2:57 this morning. His first sub 3 hr finish!

Wow! Man give my congrats to him. I'm a long term marathoner but have never been able to qualify for Boston. And not sure I have the desire now (at age 57) to train that hard anymore, lol. Congrats again on a great accomplishment.

He’s really amazing at 44 yr old.

Super cool. He did a full marathon in just about the time it took me to do a half lol.

6 minute mile is quite impressive, I probably would I've passed out after about the 2nd mile at that rate.

                        Send my congrats sir!

My S-n-L did Boston for the first time the year it got bombed. But he had finished well over an hour before the incident.

The fish are biting, and there's hogs to be kill-t. Gotta go!

Sub 3:00 is quite impressive! I had a goal of qualifying for Boston but never made it. Closest I came was at the old Dallas White Rock when I was 39 and missed it by just under 4 minutes. (If I was 3 months older I would have qualified with that time) Back then the qualifying time for men 35-39 was 3:15 but it's now 3:05 for that age group!
