Then he "should" be safe this year if he stays on your lease.

Give the one guy his money back and send him on his way. If he's not on the program with the rest of the hunters send him packing. Great up and comer

I sure hope he lives for your sake...but being a double drop tine young buck in East TX is a dangerous existence!

Unless he’s the lease manager, I wouldn’t have someone on the lease that wouldn’t respect everyone else’s wishes to let a young stud like that grow a little and hopefully breed a lot.

I am 100% on board with leaving that deer alone for a couple/few years...it would be a shame not to spread those genes.

I would be a bit upset about 1 guy not agreeing with all the other members, but if he does shoot it is he breaking any of the rules in place when he signed on the lease?

                            Great deer.

                            I think he's a little older than y'all think.

The genes a deer like that would spread could change a place for years if managed well. Great young deer.
This was exactly my first thought as I read the post. Thinking on it a little more, the lease boss could make this deer off limits. If anyone objected to that then I would send them packing right now before they had a chance to shoot it.

I really hope that deer doesn't get shot, he could be something really special.
