Just wanted to throw this out there since I'm a Carthage grad!!
Since 1990, Carthage has been to the state game 7 times. Winning 6!!!
Gilmer has been there only 5 times, winning 3.
Just sayin!!!

Not even counting the times when they "almost" got there.
Example, Carthage lost in the semi final round just last year.

He has good vision and throws the ball well and accurate. However, he is young and slow on his feet.

Maybe Hopkins will use 2 QBs throughout a game.

Gilmer scrimmaged Henderson last night. Gilmer lost the live portion 16-21. Gilmer was forced to kick a field goal on 4th down from inside the 10

Looks like Carthage and gilmer have met 7 times in the last 10 years with 4 wins to Carthage and 3 wins to gilmer. Guess we might as well even it up this year huh

Also does this source not consider SETX as Part of East Texas? I noticed Jasper is the most southern school mentioned but I wouldn’t really consider them SETX. Is this just a list of more northeast Texas schools?
