    Tracking device

With the rise in atv/utv thefts the last several years, I’m curious as to how many people actually have some sort of tracker on their buggies and other recreational vehicles. What brands do you use, and have you been happy with their performance if you’ve ever had to use it to find your vehicle?

I've got Apple air tags on my tractor, mule, Polaris and cattle trailer.

x3 for Airtags. Best thing out there right now. small and easy to hide. Hell, we even keep them on the dogs collars just in case!

Isn’t the range of an air tag like 30feet?

An iPhone has to be within 30’ for it to be detected.

Well that's not going to work,

Looks like a product called Trackimo might work.

We use rovitracker on our equipment. Not sure how the costs would be on a single unit. We like their performance, and the trackers blend in well if you take time to hide them correctly. That said, the smart thieves are good at finding any type of tracking device.

"an" iPhone... or any iPhone. In otherwords, if the thief has an iPhone or stashes the loot near someone who has an iPhone, it will track it.... or YOUR iPhone (that would be connected to YOUR airtag) has to be within 30'?

Since I quit the insurance I was going to put one of our tiles on my ranger

It says any Apple device with UWB built in. So it might not work if a crack head takes your stuff....

Has anybody used the Apple Air tag with their Android? Looks like this is possible? If so this is exactly what I am needing.
