Something else to consider is going back to your last blood and look for a place the deer turned. Happens alot. They will turn and be dead within 20 yds sometimes. Good luck.

I shot a buck a couple years ago. After I hit him he ran 30 yds away,looked around and started eating acorns again with his little 4 point buddies. They walked a big half circle around me for 20 min. He laid down in sight for 10 minutes then got up and walked off.
There was so much blood all the folks I got to help look for him all said there is no way this buck is more than 40-50 yds away. Never found him, it is just crazy the things that can happen while hunting

Get as much help as you can. The more eyes, the better! If he had blood coming out of his nose, you hit lungs. That is good. I'll bet you find him. Good luck!
