      3 hunters is a lot for that amount of land however most of the area there is thick. I would max do maybe 2 hunters. There was 125 acres next to me leased one year with 2 hunters. They each paid $1400. No water, no electricity, notta. Drove in and parked when they wanted to hunt.

        Kind of what I was thinking. Land has not been hunted in years. Definately good deer population and great terrain. Trinity river across the road. We are contemplating leasing it out this year.

              Almost all my mature are cleaned up now.

                We had some hard horned a week ago, and last year at this time the whole group was still in velvet.... Does drought conditions affect when they shed?

                        Mine are still in velvet. This one has gained some tine length over the past 3-4 weeks.
