Good morning fellas, pulled into KS last night. I saw 2 good bucks on my Oklahoma place, but too young. Could not stand it, had to get to KS. Pulled one card on way in. Not really a shooter on that spot. Hade one might go 150s.

So I'm sitting on a ridge this morning glassing some public land right by camp. Then off to pull more cards and get a plan for the week. I'm leasing about 300 acres. I know of 2 deer of this place that went 180 and 205 in last 4 years.

I have taken 2 nice 8s last 4 years up here one was 154 and other 162. Here is 162 from 2 seasons ago.

Its nice and cold, should be great week!

Haven't sat in a stand yet. I glassed several walk ins and drove around looking for more public access. State has a pretty cool app.

Did put a camera on walk in about 15 mile east of camp.Will go check in a couple days.

I was on a nice ridge this morning and saw alot of activity.

Mid day I drove by another walk in and saw a real nice buck in it. Sure looked like a shooter, but on the run. Going to make a set in there tomorrow during lunch and drop camera on trail. Saw 3 bucks total on that place.

Here are some pics from my lease pulled today. Best 2 bucks I have. The ten pic from night would be easy kill I think. He is at all my spots often and at day light. Just not what I'm here for.

Hunted my lease this morning. Pretty slow, saw one doe.

Put a pop up on some public and a camera where I saw good deer yesterday. Had creek and there is major corridor with scapes and rubs everywhere. Bumped a small buck so I backed out. Made a set near entry and exit. Need a NE wind for this spot. We will see.

Man horrible reception here.

Last night and today I have been covered up with deer. Nothing worth an arrow. Its definitely pre rut here. I'm hopeful for this next front tomorrow. Should really get them moving.

Good news is I have a shooter! I found a scape in an area surrounded by years of rubs! I set a pop up and pulled card today. 5 bucks hit this scape in 13 hours. 2 are shooters. Here is the one I'm excited about.
