Waiting for noon to come by, but i have been ready since friday!!!

Between Sweetwater and Roby, saw so many birds yesterday that the kids opted to sleep in and the wife and I are on the porch sipping coffee.

I have heard 4 shots in the distance and seen 3 birds since daylight.

No hunting for us....our field in Pleasanton got about 4” of rain yesterday afternoon!!

I have some friends w 2 birds so far in grainger

for the 1st time in over 60yrs I am not hunting the dove opener. My place out west has no doves and the place I was going to hunt 30min from the house got 3in rain yesterday so the hunt was cancelled by the ranch foreman. so I'm sittin here readin TBH watchin hummingbirds and sippin coffee. the preacher will be surprised to see me in church on opening day.
