I did not see how big he was from fang to fang it was roughly 1/2" not sure on distance but it was obviously to close lol

I've seen 7 in the past two days. They're definitely moving pretty good right now.

Judging by where it got you I'd say that snake was around 40-45" long. That's just a guess though, the fang marks are a little close together to be a 45" snake. Good thing it just fired a warning shot. Those kind of things can get expensive.

You sure you didn't get popped with some mesquite thorns or something else? At a half an inch apart that would be a pretty small snake and to get that high up your leg would almost be impossible and hit sideways...
