              yeah mass gets 4 measurements per side. Now this is where things get interesting. OP is talking about P&Y which has slightly different rules than B&C for mass. B&C never anticipated anything less than an 8 could make minimums so they are silent on anything less than an eight point; whereas P&Y states that if there is less than a G3 on a side, then you get the base twice to make the four measurements. P&Y had to account for potential 6 and 7 points making minimum.
              This has led to some interesting campfire debates with my buddies, especially for the score on a spike
