Fredericksburg/ Kerrville activities for kids

We are headed to Fredericksburg for the next 4-5 days. We know how to have adult fun up there but can’t come up with much for my lil guy. Any recommendations for an 11yo boy?

Enchanted rock. Can be 3 hours, or longer if you want. Take a small backpack with water & snacks. Enjoy the time & take pictures !

Nimitz Museum- a lot 1/2 day. I rate it second only to the WWII Museum in New Orleans which is absolutely awesome.

You could rent some kayaks and kayak the Guadalupe, Mr. Gatties or a
Round of bowling in Fredericksburg

Dont forget the LBJ ranch tour in Stonewall which is only 10 miles outta F'Berg. I saw the buffalo yesterday and they are getting massive!! You guys are always welcome to fill my feeders if you REALLY get bored!!![emoji854]

Oops......forgot about the new elephant show in stonewall. Big crowds on weekends off of Double Antler Road behind LBJ Ranch. Kids love it.

Check out Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park in Fredericksburg. Lots of outdoor stuff to do.

You could take them to Cave Without a Name. It’s outside of Boerne. We took our kids there last year and they and fun going down in the cave and they have bags of sand that they can pan in water and find fossils and cool rocks.
