Got Aransas this morning. Ive hunted national forest, but this will be my first drawn hunt! and new to south/coastal hunting.

I won as well. From my research it looks like a difficult hunt, low success rate, wicked mosquito's, and a lot hunters.

I would appreciate any additional info you guys might have for this place. Thanks in advance.

All of mine still say "Application Received". I guess that means I didn't get picked this year? A lot of them say that the application deadline is 9/15. Would that not indicate that the draw for those would be the next day?

9/15 applications will be drawn on the 16th. If it says application received the drawing hasn't happened yet.

My 12 yr old son got selected for Richland Creek Youth GDE. In Stoked I’ve hunted there myself before. Now I’m just praying it doesn’t flood.
