I wonder how much your property taxes are going to go up?

nice work! now I want one even though I have no real use for it. Havent shot anything in 4 years and no lease now. I really want to make some sausage once I can get some meat in the freezer somehow

The hose from the burner is long enough that I can move the propane bottle close to the door. Just turn on the valve with right hand and reach over to the burner with left hand. Easy peasy!

Fantastic job! I wouldn't have used PT lumber either but I agree in your build it's not really an issue. pete

I have a steel shed with the same aspirations as this. What is the backing board? What did you seal the seams with? I intend to do the same with propane and smoke. Looking to get temps to 300ish as well.

The inside walls are Hardie board, walls are insulated with ordinary R13 insulation, the seams are sealed with window caulk.

This past weekend I fired it up for 6 hours and kept the temp at 225 for 3 hours and 260 for 3 hours. I loaded the stove up with oak and kept it going for 4 hours.

Everything held up just fine, the door knob didn't even get too hot to handle.
