PHHR, didn't we see these at the fishing show?

Interesting concept and wonder if it would keep sharks off our stringers as well. A concern I have is; what effect does it have on fin fish such as trout and reds?

I can use a cast net to catch piggies and mullet. And whiting are easy enough to catch in the surf on dead shrimp or fish bites. If all else fails, I'll borrow a few croaker off JoshW.

Disclaimer. I’ve never been hit, but I’m not going looking for the **** things either so I won’t actually know if they work or not.

Last spring me and marsh hunter were wading East Marty in gin clear water. It was still cold enough we were wearing waders. I bet we saw 20 rays that morning.

I got close to one and stuck my rod tip in the water and touch him, and that SOB turned around and came out me. [emoji51]. I was walking on water to get away.

This little rascal almost got me trying to get my daughters treble hook out of it the other day. Scared me bad. I just cut the line after that.

We used to see them all the time in the Laguna. You would just poke them with the rod tip and they would move on.

What you had to watch out for is when they would follow you while you were stirring up the bottom. You definitely wanted to look behind you before you stepped backwards.
