New Orleans area fishing guide Recommendation

Will be headed to New Orleans this summer in June. I want to sneak in a fishing trip or two if possible. Does anyone have any suggestions on who to book with in that area? Thanks in advance

Last summer we fished with Pelican State Fishing Charters, Captain Dave...504-578-9795. Had a great fishing trip while we were in NOLA.

If you want to have some real fun, call Capt Richard with Bow Deadly Bowfishing Charters out of Port Sulphur and go stick some reds!!!!

          Do you want to :
          - bowfish for reds, gar, catfish
          - fish inshore for specs, reds, flounder
          - or go offshore for tuna, cobia, wahoo, snapper

Sorry didn't really specify target species. Will be concentrating on inshore fishing this time for specs and reds.

Vodoo charters our of venice are great for inshore. If you decide to go off shore you can't beat voodoo charters or capt. Eddie Burger.

Just to give you a few more options in case Dudenhefer has no opening on the dates you want to go:

                Bayou Charters - http://captaincharlie.com/

                CPT Jack Payne - https://delacroixfishing.com/

                CPT Phil - http://fishwithphil.com/

                CPT Bourgeois - https://www.neworleansfishing.com/

Just to level set expectations. With the Mississippi river so high the Army Corp opened the spillway. There is so much freshwater east of the river, the speckle trout are going to all be out in the gulf offshore. However, the redfish will remain in the area.

Even though you're not going until June, I doubt the salinity level will increase by then to get the specks back on the inside.
