Several years ago while trying to get my blood sugar down, I found out a couple of beers would take 2 or 3 days to get sugar back under control. It was wintertime which I didnt drink much beer in anyway. After I cut that way back I would only drink bourbon, and it didn't effect my sugar that much, unless I drank a lot. Mostly I only have one drink, maybe two, a couple of times a month, and rarely when not at home. Just thinking, I have not had a drink since Christmas, maybe have one tonight. I don't even consider myself a drinker anymore.

I made a lifestyle change 4 months ago due to bad blood work. Down 30 pounds and in pretty good shape. I did cut back on liquor but didn't go cold turkey.
It's the fatty food and lack of exercise that makes you feel bad. Not the 3 or 4 drinks at night after you exercise and eat healthy that makes you feel bad.
