Never hunted pen raised birds. Use 4’s on the wild ones.

My favorite is 2 3/4" heavy loads in a 12 gauge. 3" #4's for a 20 gauge. They're tough birds and I don't like chasing them. It's bad enough walking for miles looking for them.
