Not to get off subject, but are you using Eastwood 175 set up with their spool gun? Have looked into them and read good reviews. Just seeing if it is plenty good for a novice.

It is not Miller but has worked well for this project. It comes with a spool gun.

Hey, he has been working on it. Unlike my boat project that has just been sitting. Looks good. Good luck on the launch.

Y'all may think we are crazy, but if they work the way we believe they will we are planning on running them from the dam on the Brazos at Waco all the way to salt water. It'll take atleast a couple of resupplies but it should be doable. 450 miles give or take. Shooting for July or August to start. Going to order aluminum tomorrow for mine. Now that we have the plans worked out should be able to build the other one in a couple of weeks. Just need an engine and prop.

Can't wait to see that, these little airboats are pretty sweet.

Any thoughts if it'll have enough power to run dry?

                              They won't run dry.

Do you think it's a weight vs power issue, or do you think it's a friction issue? Curious about Polly on the bottom and what it would do.
