Well sometimes you get zeroed. That's just hunting. I'm headed out.
I've had 2 150" class deer in bow range, (with no shot) the end of October in Kansas. That's not bad for a 4 day hunt.
We'll be back around Nov 6 (pending cold weather) for 10 days of daylight to dark hunting action.
Thanks to everyone for all the support.
The last 10 days have crept by slower than a 3 legged turtle.
I left Seminole Tx (Work) at 3:00 this morning. Should work out just right to be on a stand this evening for the first, of a potential 10 day hunt.
The weather looks awesome! Not sure we could have hit it at a better time. Clark will meet me in town today and we’ll both be making all day sits until we kill, or run out of days to hunt.
If you have hunted in Kansas, you know weather trumps everything as far as deer movement. Our cell cameras have shown more movement in the last week and it should get even better as this front rolls in.
All 3 of our target bucks, (Bog Bob, High & Tight, Trashy 8) are still on our property, as per cameras. If everything works out, one of them should be a permanent Tx resident in the next 10 days.
Hang in here with me, and I’ll keep it live as possible.
