    Yes, this. ^^^

Sometimes you might need metal “shoes” nailed to the bottom of your footsies.

For plantar fascitis i have tried everything from shoe's to shots, nothing works except 2 to 6 months of staying off of them. My opinion.
Had it for a log time, but after getting hurt at work and laid u for 2 months it was gone.
Every so often it starts to come back, i have to call in sick and stay off of them..

I had Plantar fasciitis, got the $10 lifts that go in your shoes from Walmart, all better now.

I have a Boot for Plantar Fascia if any body wants it, It's new I just never used it. Looks kinda like this.

I too played sports all my life and about 20 years ago started having a pain on the ball of my left foot. I would start limping after two steps. Morton’s neuroma.
I had a foot dr give me dozens of injections with multiple meds with NO relief so he operated and cut the nerve out. All that did was move the pain back about a inch!! Had a second surgery with little change. Few years later another dr used a transmitter to radiate it and it help a lot.
Best thing I have done is start using insoles from Take 5 Birkenstock’s. They changed my life.
          I feel your pain brother.

I had flat feet when I joined the Army. Getting fit for shoes and boots aint fun but it will solve a ton of problems. Go get professionally fit and you'll love it!

Dealt with this (Plantar Fascitis) in left foot most of last year and it wouldn't go away, could hardly walk some days. Tried 2 or 3 specialists that all just wanted money and to sell their 'special' orthotics. No therapy worked, stretches worked temporarily, everything irritated it, all the doctors opinions contradicted each other, just confusing me.
I stayed away from anyone that suggested injections, they did not work before and most now recommend NOT getting them.
After the last therapist wound up taping up my foot/arch and ankle/lower calf with it, there was significant improvement in the pain relief. So I quit going and began taping it myself, icing frequently for healing and eventually went to just a wide stretch band that supports my arch only, wearing better shoes, and NOT walking bare-foot on hard surfaces. Since then I have had little to no pain with it.
I am assuming I broke my arch down at some point and it contributed to all the other issues. Its definitely worth a try if everything else has failed you, but it does take a little while to work completely.

I had some plantar fasciitis. I lost some weight and it went away.

Plantar fasciitis on and off for 10 years plus a recent plantar plate tear at second metatarsal. Just got an Rx for new insoles. Hope they work cause I really enjoy walking. Good luck.

I feel your pain, literally..... last year I devolved a Morton’s Neuroma. I went from running about 25 miles a week to zero, it really really hurt. I got steroid injections and it’s manageable but still a lingering pain. I’ve had to find other ways to work in my cardio but have recently been able to run up to 2 miles without too much pain. Sucks to get old but it happens to all of us sooner or later.

I recently went to the good feet store. It’s been a week and my feet pain is so much better. I work 12 hour shifts on concrete. Every day my feet would hurt terribly. I had come to the conclusion that this was how I was gonna live out the rest of my life. Thank god I listened to my wife and went. Today I actually felt normal, something I haven’t felt in a long time.

Did the Birkenstock $60 inserts and got the hippie looking sandles too! Good supportive shoes and boots and never go barefoot. In the house I keep the birk sandles or the crocs on. So far so good.

Totally agree on the bare-foot thing, we have all wood/tiles floors ... just never thought about it before the therapist brought it up.
And a pair of OOFOS sandals, best investment ever!
